There comes a time in all our lives
when we realize just how lonely we are
and though we have amassed a multitude of friendships
there seems to be something missing
something you can't always get from a friend
a deep yearning for a sensation
that crosses the boundaries of friendship
the need to be with someone
who can sense needs rooted deeper than friendship
someone who will hold and caress you
passionately through the night
and in the morning look at you
and say I love you
this is what I feel
this is what I am searching for
lonely is not of my nature
I hope to find someone
who will touch my soul
and take the loneliness away
